Starting this coming Saturday we will be opening the White Mountain Artists Co-Op on a trial basis. We will be open until January the 4th. We will open open daily at 10am and will be open till 6 or 7pm it will be located at 2306 Sudderth Dr. in same area as LA Nails in Ruidoso. Look for new items in the future

As most of you know I have been really busy traveling and doing art shows. I just finished at the Recycle Santa Fe Art Festival and again this year it was totally awesome. I am not sure awesome would even begin to describe the fabulous creative people I met this year. I only have 3 shows left this year and I am rally looking forward to a break. Back to the most important news is that this week I finally purchased the torch I was wanting to get. So hopefully next year I will have some rally cool neat new items. I am always learning and creating. I have a mind that never turns off and hands that try to keep up....

Where I have been

I am so sorry you have not heard from me in a while. I have been rally busy traveling for shows, creating art pieces, working on new ideas just so much going on. I am getting ready to leave this weekend to go to Amarillo for the Sharing the Hope Ministry Christmas show. This is my first time to do this show. I gotta go for now I need to get busy building windchimes. I will try very hard to get some photos of the items I have been working on. There is a good side and a bad side to me posting these photos. i really want all of you to see my work. But most of it has already been sold.

Why Labor Day is so ispecial in Ruidoso, NM.

Why Labor Day is so special in Ruidoso, NM. Not only does it mark the end of summer & kids going back to school.. The biggest event in town is the 2011 All American Futurity. This is racing’s richest race for 2-year-olds, regardless of breed. It is run every Labor Day at Ruidoso Downs in Ruidoso, NM. the $2.4 million race will be contested September 5 by 10 2-year-old American Quarter Horses. The $1.2 million for 1st place would be a record prize in the sport.  

The Futurity was first run in 1959, with a purse of $129,686. It was won by a filly Galobar, who was trained by Newt Keck and ridden by Cliff Lambert.

Watch out.

Fredericksburg Journey

I have been enjoying my trip to Fredericksburg, TX. I have done some hunting for recycable items, and done some well deserved relaxing. I am getting ready for another show here this coming weekend called the Fredericksburg Trade Days. Then I will be headed home next week. The people here have been really cool, but the weather has been really hot.

River Rendezvous Show

The show at River Rendezvous went really well other than the very high winds. There were lots of shoppers and a nice selection of vendors. I met several new artists. I am now getting ready to go to Fredericksburg, TX for 2 weeks. If you have friends or family in that area please tell them to come out and see me at Night in Ol' Fredericksburg on June 10th and 11th. I will then be at Frdericksburg Trade Days on June 17th -19th.

Latest Travels

I have been gone lately. I recently did 2 shows in Stanton, Texas where the wind blew about 60 miles an hour. Boy! that was an adventure. The other show I did was in Lovington, NM this is a nice little show we just need to find more vendors anyone interested can contact me for information.

Great state of Texas Pendant

The Great state of Texas!

This pendant is a custom ordered piece. An admirer of my work came to me with the concho and asked me to make her a spoon pendant.It is a Texas concho attached to a vintage spoon. The concho can also be changed out with other conchos as she wishes.With the large bail it can either be worn on a choker or placed on a beaded necklace.
