Broken arm update

To update everyone on my arm. I got my cast off and now I have a velcro brace on. The Dr. told me to wear it when I am in public. And at home take it off and move my  hand. It is very sore especially the top of my hand. But I am using it. Any hand excercises that were helpful to any of you would be great info.

I am working on so many things and I am on a time crunch for this upcoming weekend. I don't have time right now to post any new photos this week. Some of my new items are cowboy hat keyrings made out of a soup spoon and the end of a butter knife handle. Some kokopelli statues made out of 2 forks and a serving spoons. And 46 unique and one of a kind bracelets. It is all fabulous. But I am kind of proud of my work. I will put photos up next week. But if you are in Ruidoso this weekend please come to Schoolhouse Park Sept. 1,2,3 to see my work and art handcrafted by other artists. We have some new artists who have never been here in town to participate in any shows. So if you have been to see us before please come again to see whats new.

Rings! Rings! and more Rings....

I think this is the season for a spoon ring. As of today I have made 409 rings made out of fork handles, spoon handles, cocktail forks, butter spreader blades, and whole demitasse spoons. Regular sell for $25.00 ea. Specialty rings sell for $37.00 ea. ( these are the ones made from forks, blades and whole spoons) I am sure I have one just for you. They also make great gifts. This bookmarks are made from bits and pieces of left over silverware. They make great gifts. They sell for $8.00 ea.

Sporks

Spork! The first U.S. patent for a Spork was issued in 1874. These are one of my new fun creations. This be the next greatest item for everyone to carry in your lunch box or purse. These sell for $12.00. Just let me know how many you & your family needs.

Toothpick holders

Toothpick anyone? These handy Toothpick holders  are a new item I have created using the bowl of a spoon and part of a butterknife handle.

Melted bottle light and fan pulls

Check out the new light/fan pulls. I have made them from small bottles and perfume bottles by melting them.

I am working hard on trying to come up with some new art ideas. I have been really busy I have done 2 shows so far and spending time with family. I recently purchased a newer truck for my business and I have been dealing with some issues with it. Getting it just like I like it. I will try to get some new photos on here soon. And let all of you know what my next upcoming shows will be.

Recipes

I have decided to make some changes to my melted bottle cheese trays and relish dishes. Due to the cost of ink at this I am no longer going to print out the recipes and place them on each bottle. On the right side of my website is a new section for recipes. I would love to add new relish and cheese ball recipes as I find them. I would love any recipes you would like to share with everyone. Please enjoy and share.

I am still here....

I know everyone has been looking forward to seeing some new creations. I have still been so busy rebuilding studio, taking some time off, spending time with friends. But I soon as I get back in the swing I will start posting some new photos. Thank you for your patience and thank you for following me. As soon as I start booking shows for the spring and summer I will start adding the information to the upcoming show section of this site.

This group is open to anyone who makes handcrafted items and to artists who want to display and sell there items on here. This group is for people who want to buy quality items from artists and crafters. Everything from baked goods ,crocheted, knitted, jewelry, photos, pottery, paintings, recycle art, sewing. If you make it than this group is for you. Also if you have supplies that you no longer use please let us know maybe other artist can use them. For sellers please remove an item when it is sold. PLEASE! This group is only for items that are created by artists. No commercial items. Please pass the word around to everyone.
