Not all about me

I learned something yesterday in a class I took about marketing yourself and your business, that you can not always just talk about yourself. So as I travel and do arts and crafts shows over the next several months. I would like to be able to introduce you to other artists or people I meet along the way and tell you about them and their art. And in return I hope that they will tell somebody about the lady they met who uses everyone trash to make wonderful treasures.

Doug Smith Artist, Piano Player

Sometimes there are people who have been touched by God and there is a phrase I like to use " It's a God thing" and I think Doug Smith and his talent is just a God thing. This is a video about Doug Smith a very awesome piano player from Petersburg, TX. a small town close to where I am from in Texas. My son and I once saw him in concert and I think of all the people I have ever had a chance to see he was my favorite. This is a story of his recovery. It is a very powerful video. Better get a Kleenex.

WATCH OUT! New items are coming.

I have been working on several new items. I will try to get some pictures posted in a few days. I have been working on some key chains made from upcycled spoon bowls. They have been flattened and then I have stamped some great sayings on them. I welcome any suggestions of your favorite sayings, they can also be personalized with a name, wedding date and names, birthdays, the sky's the limit.


 The other new item is glass spinners, with these it just goes to show that even the small ones can serve a purpose. I have melted some great small bottles, vases, and jars. Then they have been hung with a snap swivel and a very small steel cable. The cable has then been decorated with beads most of which have also been recycled form old jewelry. When you place these outdoors they will spin as if they were doing a gentle and peaceful dance. They can also be hung indoors in a window as a sun catcher.
